I know it's the typical fall schedule for freshmen to take math, chem, and a GE.

Is it recommended to take math and chem in one quarter at the same time? Would I totally be screwed over if I decide not to take math this quarter?

yes, its typical. chem you just gotta take every quarter. you need to finish math in order to start physics later on. the ge is just to transition.

if you dont wanna take math, then i guess you would have to take a life science class. hardly any freshman start with LS tho.

math, chem, and a GE should be no problem. you will have no time issues.
