Recommended Transfer GPA for Biological Sciences at UCI

Hey,
I'm wondering what GPA is good enough to get into the biological sciences major at UC Irvine? If you guys can also tell me what other things are important for admission, I would really be interested to know. Also, I'm planning to transfer from another UC so a bit of a heads-up there. All feedback is welcome so knock yourselves out.

Appreciate it,

If you do TAG, you only need 3.0 GPA, one year of bio (93,94,100L), one of g-chem, 60 units finished, English and math done.

Thanks for your answer but TAG is only for community college students. I’ll already be at a UC. Do you have any idea what the average GPA is for those who don’t participate in the TAG program?
