My son is applying only to Comm App schools. The teacher recommender is listed for all schools as invited but only listed as submitted for one college. What action has to be taken for the recommendation to go from invited to submitted? The one college where it is downloaded appeared the same day of the invitation, that is the recommendation has been done and acknowledged by the college. The teacher "invitation" was weeks ago.

Does your son’s school use Naviance?

I suggest you contact the teacher. It is their responsibility to submit their recommendations on time.

The school does use Naviance. I am puzzled why only one school received recommendation.

My school uses Naviance and also has a form to give teachers with a list of colleges they need to send recommendations to, does his? Has he requested transcripts for all the schools he is applying to?

I would email the teacher. Sometimes they send them, but not all requests go through… I have a friend whose teacher meant to send out all recommendations but missed a key step online. It was caught in time and she ended up realizing she had made the same error with more than one student’s recommendation letter. That may be the issue in this situation.

I have a similar problem! I have 2 teachers doing my recs - but one no longer teaches at my school so she had to mail hers in (while my other teacher did it through Naviance). However, for schools only requiring one rec, I used the teacher mailing in her recommendations. On Common App, for the schools receiving a mailed rec, it says it hasn’t been received, and my OTHER teacher (doing it through Naviance) was invited! What do I do?! What happens if your School Forms aren’t submit by the deadline? I’m really worried!!!
