Hey guys

What should homeschoolers do about the teacher and counselor recommendations?
All I have is a final high school transcript, from 2008-2011 (8th-12th grades).
All universities are closed for the holidays and I can't find any help! January 1 is almost here and that is when most applications are due...

I need 2 teachers and 1 counselor. All I have is my mom...can she be both teacher and counselor? what about the second teacher?

Please help out, I don't know what to do :O

Thankss!!!

I don’t know if your mom can be both the teacher and counselor. Did you take any classes from other sources, such as a community college or a homeschool co-op?

Also, since you’ve been off for a few years, you might want to consider starting at a community college. They’re easier to get into, especially since your documentation is outdated.

Good luck!

I used my dad as the counselor and asked other teachers (homeschooling co-op, etc.) to provide recommendations. It’s important to show some objective recommendations - therefore, even if allowed, I’d advise you not use your parent for both teacher/counselor recommendations.
