<p>wow....that's getting down there.
this is gonna be crazy by the time OUR kids (mind you i'm talking as a 17 year old) start applying. who know's it might be all government controlled by then.</p>
<p>Bowdoin's yield rate is closer to 40% according to the Princeton Review site. And assuming its a similar percent this year, the acceptance rate will be closer to 20%....a little higher, but still brutal. :(</p>
<p>The link to the official Bowdoin site listing admission stats for the past 10 plus years follows. For the class of 2010 the admission rate was 21.6% and the yield was, as aabar mentions, 40.7%. </p>
