I think that I am going to opt to send a recorded audition to Oklahoma City University for acceptance to their BM MT program. I know that this sends the wrong message (such as that I don’t care enough to go there and audition in person), but it’s really not a question of my wanting to attend; It’s more that I don’t want my family to have to pay for a trip over there (I live in Maryland). All of my other audition schools are on the east coast and we are all set for those. OCU was a last minute addition. Do you think it’s even worth it for me to attempt a recorded audition? Is there any chance in the world I’ll actually be accepted?

Hi again, CarolAnne! I remembered something.

If you’re really set on a recorded audition, I would also recommend you contact Rachel McCarthy to explain the circumstances surrounding your submission. She’s awesome. :)

As always, feel free to PM me if you have ANY questions about the audition process or OCU.
