Does anyone have a sense of which sport is more hotly recruited at Yale? Would it matter if you are a sprinter, or long jumper or would the needs of the school differ year to year?

Would a coxswain be more hotly recurited vs. a rower? Any advice appreciated.

It depends. If you row and have excellent ERG nos, then you can be very valuable. It depends on your numbers. Coxswains with proven winning experience – may be interesting – but not some beastly rower.

As for track – again, it depends on your numbers. One cannot blanketly compare one sport versus another.
