I'm currently thinking about transferring to a top school if possible. I just can't decide if I should do my SATs again.

I'm a sophomore at a pretty good school, my cumulative GPA is 3.94, it dropped from 4.00 only because I joined a varsity team and got a job.

2.5 years ago when I took the SATs I got a 1,610. The problem is that I really do not think that my SATs portray how bright I'm. Neither I think i could get a much higher grade.

What are ur opinions/suggestions regarding the matter?

I must also add that I'm an international student. Thus the TOEFL takes some weighting too, and colleges are generally a bit more understanding regarding low SAT scores.

If your GPA is a 3.94 two years into your studies at a pretty good school, I don’t think you need to worry… But hey, it shouldn’t take much effort to break 2000 on the SAT if you’ve done so well in college.

To be honest, I think that you should take your SAT again. Your GPA is really good but then again you mentioned “top” school which I am assuming refers to HYPS, Ivy League, or top 20? In that case you want to have at least 2000.
