***Reed Class of 2021 RD Applicant Thread***

@XiaoAh I’d say go for it! I emailed my regional counselor about some additional information/context regarding my transcript and they said that was helpful, and at my interview they said they like to have as much context as they can, so I think it can only help your application. Good luck!!

@theonbaejoy Thank you!!. I just sent it to my regional counselor and I hope things will go well! Good luck to you too : D

@theonbaejoy @TreeLights Hey, it’s so cool that you’re applying to Reed AND are considering a major in Physics. I am completely sure I want to major in Physics, although like theonbaejoy I also love other courses. It’d be awesome if we post our decisions once they arrive. By the way, does anyone know when? I think it was April 1st but I don’t remember.

Greetings from Peru :smiley:

@Norm54 I got the same

Have what Reed states that they are looking for— intrepid intellectualism, though, I’m not entirely sure that just having an insatiable thirst for books is Reedie worthy.

@Norm54 @Biogirl1998 I think the head of admissions said last year that read does absolutely nothing to hint that you will recieve an offer of admission ahead of time.

Any international student here applied RD?
Also, do you guys think decisions will be released on the 1st of April as the previous years or they might release them before

@justin2021 yeah, me!

I was just seeing the topics you guys chose for the Paideia essay and now suddenly I think mine is not as innovative. I wrote on Stand Up Comedy as an art form. I hope they think I was intellectual enough :confused:

@justin2021 me too!

Hey did everyone get a brochure in their mail. I know everyone was sent a postcard, but it seems weird to send a brochure to someone who is already interested in attending.

I didn’t get either of the things. I’m international and live in a pretty remote area so maybe that’s why (?)

will the decisions come out early this year
