whats the largest size we're allowed to have in our dorms? i think i read somewhere that its 4.5 square feet..is that right? just double checking

Yes. 4.5 Cubic feet is the maximum size allowed. You can use one that's a little bigger, if it's not too obvious, they don't measure out everyone's fridge.

Don't be clueless and bring a fridge still in the box that says 5 cu. ft. though. They're not gonna let that slip by.

you should probably read this

I found one that's 4.6 cubic feet.

you guys think it's OK?

Yep!

How much does it cost though?

Most Best Buys sell an Oster branded mini-fridge, 4.5 cubic feet, for like 70 dollars. It's a really good deal.

Only $70? On the website it says $169.99. Never know with in-store sales though. It just seems weird that they'd cut back over 50% though.

Does anyone know if we can have more than one refrigerator in the dorm? Because my roommate wants to bring her own and I want to bring my own.

Yeah, each person can have his/her own fridge. As long as you've got space for it, of course.

Sigh, looks like the price went up. The non-sale price used to be 70 dollars, I don't know why they raised it so much. When i saw it on sale, it was only 60 dollars.

My roommate is gonna have to blow an extra 100 dollars now because he didn't buy it when I told him to. Oh well.

im paying $170 for a 4.6 cubic feet from sears

Wait, you guys are getting a fridge just for yourself?

my roommate and i are sharing

Yeah, we're probably not going to be sharing. Haha, does that seem weird? I wonder if anyone else isn't sharing.

yeah ppl usually share refrigerators.. it is usually the room mates who don't really get along that don't share.. it is pretty funny bc you can always tell :)
