I'm currently a student at UC - San Diego, and I'm investigating transfering to University of Missouri - Columbia.

I'm currently an OOS student at UCSD, as my home has been in Missouri for the past 5 years. I asked Mizzou's admissions department about whether I would be able to get in-state tuition, and was met with a resounding no. Is there any way that I can petition it? These are the grounds that I am basing my "residency" off of:

-My family still owns a home in Chesterfield, Missouri
-My parents are paying a Missouri property tax this year (and have
paid for the past 5 years)
-We have just recently moved (Jan 19, 2007)
-My vehicle is registered in Missouri
-I hold a Missouri driver's license
-My business is still registered in Missouri
-I am paying a Missouri income tax
-All my bank accounts are registered in Missouri
-I will be working full time during the Summer in St. Louis at Pfizer
or Washington University
-I attended a Missouri high school for 4 years, and graduated from a
Missouri high school
-I am not a resident of California either, for tuition purposes

Their residency requirements are listed here:

Is there some way that I could appeal it? Or possibly find some loophole? I don't understand how I can possibly be a complete outcast from any state (for residency at least). Would I have gotten in-state if my parents had lived in Missouri until the summer?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
