REgaining In-state/Residency?

I'm currently a student at UC - San Diego, and I'm investigating transfering to University of Missouri - Columbia.

I'm currently an OOS student at UCSD, as my home has been in Missouri for the past 5 years. I asked Mizzou's admissions department about whether I would be able to get in-state tuition, and was met with a resounding no. Is there any way that I can petition it? These are the grounds that I am basing my "residency" off of:

-My family still owns a home in Chesterfield, Missouri
-My parents are paying a Missouri property tax this year (and have
paid for the past 5 years)
-We have just recently moved (Jan 19, 2007)
-My vehicle is registered in Missouri
-I hold a Missouri driver's license
-My business is still registered in Missouri
-I am paying a Missouri income tax
-All my bank accounts are registered in Missouri
-I will be working full time during the Summer in St. Louis at Pfizer
or Washington University
-I attended a Missouri high school for 4 years, and graduated from a
Missouri high school
-I am not a resident of California either, for tuition purposes

Their residency requirements are listed here:

Is there some way that I could appeal it? Or possibly find some loophole? I don't understand how I can possibly be a complete outcast from any state (for residency at least). Would I have gotten in-state if my parents had lived in Missouri until the summer?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

hmmmm...anybody?

since your parents have moved, their primary home and place of business is no longer in missouri which means you are no longer a state resident.

I would talk to the residency dept again, but ask for some one who handles the exceptions, don't talk to some one who is just repeating the rules on the website.

I think the fact that you are attending UCSD and considered a MO resident might be something for which there are "exception" rules. In logical thinking, it wouldn't be "right" that you not be a resident of any state! If your parents moved Jan 2007, then Sept 2006 they were MO residents and you could argue you have remained one, but you would likely need to stay in MO over the summer, away from your family's new place to prove that!
