i am planning to take Bio E on June, and i have been preparing with PR and Kaplan.
I finished PR, found it easy to learn and good to the point
and
now am dealing with Kaplan, though i find some really deeply covered topics, for example the DNA structure ... , nothing i have heard so far.

My question is: How "deep" are the real question?
Would PR be sufficient or should i stretch to Kaplan's edge?

i just read the whole princeton review book halfway through ap bio and ended up with 780 bio-m on the december (the class is over in march-april). Assuming you've taken some sort of biology class (if AP, great) then princeton is good enough. use the practice tests @sparknotes.com too. good luck.

test was RIDICULOUS!!!! Good luck, one needs strong emotional stability to prevent himself from killing himself. I felt pretty bad after taking the test because the test questions were INSANE!!! Then again, I always fret, even if I only got two questions wrong. lol.

I would advise you to just use as many preparation books that you can get your hands on. (I used about 4 haha)
I was so scared to take Bio E because, for one thing, biology has always been my worst subject. To make things worse, all my friends who took it got anywhere between 500 and 620.

After taking the test, I knew for sure TWELVE QUESTIONS. I ended up with a 730 :] Normally I wouldn't be happy with that, but for my worst subject, I think that's pretty good hehe

So don't freak out with the test. Study Kaplan too and you'll be that much more prepared.

DS2 is taking pre-IB Bio this year and plans to take AP Enviro next year. The school recommends that kids take SAT-II Bio right after taking the pre-IB class.

He's going to take HL Bio, but not til senior year. Since Bio/Env is a potential major for him, he would like to do very well.

Any thoughts on waiting until the end of AP Enviro to take the SAT-II, or will it be OK this year?
