Regarding on AP Physics C exam fee

when if i am taking ap physics c both, do i pay for the 2 tests or just one>?

in oter words, do i pay $80 or $160?

160!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to pay for both.

2 test costs, as of last year.

you pay $180.....just like for fog us govt and compar govt you pay 180...and for micro econ and macro econ you pay 180.

didn’t mean to hijack thread! so since I’m taking both exams of C, and am prepared to take B as well, should I then take 3 exams?
Thanks in advance!

Why would you want to take physics C AND physics B? You’re not going to get credit for both of them.

well, if you think you could do well on three exams, go ahead. Besides, it would totally worth $258 if you get 5’s on all of them or at least get college credit from them. But then, there are some colleges that put a maximum on the amount of AP Physics credit. For example, the maximum may be 8 units and Physics B is 8 units if you pass and one Physics C is 4 units. So, look up the college you’re planning to go to.

I do not see the point of taking the B exams especially since some school dont (especially science&engineering focused schools) dont even grant any credit for them.

Hi all,

I’ve yet another “stupid” question. Is the full physics c test taken in one sitting/day? Cuz the E&M part starts just 1 or 2 hours right after the mechanics. So may anyone confirm that together 2 parts are still taken in 1 day? THanks!

yup, since each physics c exam is 1 1/2, you’ll be able to take two in one day.

if each phy ‘c’ exam is half the length of a “regular” ap test, couldn’t collegeboard just make one big phy ‘c’ test?
maybe collegeboard has some sort of diabolical plan to rip students off ;)
