Regents and Alumni Scholarship

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I got an invitation to the Regents scholarship last month, and I filled out the application and sent the recc. letters and all that already. Now I was wondering if I should do the UCLA Alumni Scholarship as well. If I do, is it possible to win both? If I win one, then would I not be able to win the other? Does applying for both only increase my chances for getting money or hurt my chances?</p>

<p>From what I hear, both are separate; the alumni scholarship committee has no contact with the regular admissions committee.</p>
