I’m a sophomore in NYC and I recently got my grades for both the chem and the global regents.

Chem - 66
Global - 81

I am for sure going to retake the Chemistry regents in August and get a tutor because I have such a difficult time grasping the knowledge. What I am wondering is if I should retake the global regents and perhaps get a tutor. Personally, I don’t want to overload myself with work but I really was hoping a 90 or above. One last question, at what grade do colleges say you have to take remedial classes?

AFAIK Regents aren’t used to designate remedial issues except for CUNY or SUNY schools. Even then, you still get the Regents diploma designation with a 65.

Ask what is shown on the transcript sent to colleges. Our HS doesn’t put Regents grades on the transcript.
