<p>Hello, </p>

<p>I found out that MIT is holding an information session in my area at the end of this month. Do I need to RSVP if I plan to attend? If so, is there a link for it? </p>

<p>Also, I sent an e-mail to the admissions office at <a href="mailto:admissions@mit.edu">admissions@mit.edu</a> several days ago with a question but didn't receive a response. Has anyone experienced the same problem? (I'm in the Pacific Time Zone so I prefer e-mail over calling)</p>

<p>You don’t need to RSVP to attend, but there is a benefit to sending the RSVP: A packet of information will be waiting for you when you arrive. At least, that’s the way it was several years ago. Perhaps now everything will arrive via email.</p>
