HAve you looked at U-Florida online MBA?

Tomslawsky

University of Florida requires a GMAT......and does not have a concentration in Finance

I suppose I should be more clear. I am NOT looking to take GMAT

any help on Regis would be great

I doubt you'll get a "well respected" MBA where you don't even have to take the GMAT. I could be wrong though.

Thank you.

Actually, I'm looking for the "Best of the Online degrees"

At this point in my life/Career, I don't need Stanford or Wharton

I'm just looking for a good online MBA where you don't have to take a GMAT.

Was just curious if anyone had any opinions, good or bad on Regis ?

Regis University has a great program in the undergraduate area. I currently attend the traditional college (undergrad) and will be completing my senior year this coming semester. In regards to the online mba program, I can't really say anything. The professors are not on campus and I've never met any of them. In the regular MBA program, the professors are wonderful and really know what they are doing. Regis is looked on as a great school to get your mba from in the midwest region. They are not like Univ of Phoenix at all. In fact they are a Jesuit Catholic school. You won't see any of that in your online course studies (religion), but you'll definitely will see caring professors that want to see you succeed. I was going to get my traditional MBA there, but I actually decided on my legal letters in tax law and will probably be going to University of Denver for that in a year or so. Also there is a 90% conversion rate for accounting majors joining big 4 firms after they graduate and most have a job lined up with them in October of their senior year. KPMG seemed to recruit the most this year.

Consider the EMBA programs if you already have significant experience. They usually don't require GMAT and care less about your GPA. Most of the better ones include some residential components to allow networking with your peers (usually far more experienced than the typical MBA classes - online or not). If I were you, I would only go to Regis MBA unless you can't find a better-recognized one.
