My D will be at work at her Pass 2 time. I have been asked to try to register her for a specific class. As of 3 hours prior to her time there is just one space left. How do I get her on a waitlist? Can I waitlist more then one section of a particular course?
Also in order to waitlist this course will I have to drop another course that would conflict time wise if she gets it?

To wait list a class, just type the CRN number near the bottom of the course registration page and hit “Make Changes” or whatever it says. Then it will say the class is full and there should be a drop down menu to select the wait list option. You can’t wait list multiple sections, but you can type in each section and try to add them, then wait list whichever one you want (it will tell you how many students are wait listed for each section you entered.) You also cannot wait lost a class that conflicts with another class you’re signed up for or wait listed for.

Thank you. 5 more minutes. All spots are gone but hope I can get her a decent wait list position. It is the first class of her intended major so pretty important

What class is it? Wait listing usually works out. At least in my experience they have.

She is first on the wait list. The class is animal science 1

another question- she had to drop one of her GE classes in order to get on the waitlist due to a time conflict. Should she find another GE in case she doesn’t get off the list. Also now long of a period do you have to register during pass 2?

She should definitely get in. She shouldn’t need a backup GE. You have four hours after your pass time starts to register for classes. Then, you have 8-12 that night to register. And of course there’s open registration.
