<p>Hey, does anybody know what a "College Hold" is?
It says to contact your college, which is Engineering. It restricts registration, so I'm kind of stuck.</p>

<p>It means that for certain courses on your schedule of classes for which you have registered in any given semester, you cannot drop those courses once you have registered without consent of the engineering department. It basically applies to required courses and is done because typically you need to take the course when you are taking it so that you do not fall behind in your progress toward a degree.</p>
