Registration/SHIP Fees for fall

<p>Alright so I just checked mt BAR account and Im being charged about $2300 for registration and SHIP (dont know for sure if its for this but Im assuming it is). </p>

<p>Alright my question is do I send a check for this amount to the remittance center or just wait for financial aid to pay for it through bruin direct? I know my anticipated fin aid is enough to cover this but I l also dont want to risk having a hold placed on my records. </p>

<p>Can any former or current ucla students that have resolved this problem before chime in on some advice? thanks in advance.</p>

<p>If you have anticipated aid it should show up on your bill. Call the number on the bill and ask if it's not there. I had enough aid that covered my expenses and it showed up on the bill and my balance was zero.</p>

<p>the financial aid money doesnt get dispersed until evening of the 19th or something like that.</p>

<p>just look at the maximum credit card payment they list. thats your fees minus financial aid. if its zero, then financial aid will cover all your fees and you dont have to worry about it.</p>

<p>Yeah I had a similer problem and called. I was informed that on 9/19 they will apply all the student aid.</p>

<p>So if our balance is zero, then Fin. Aid should pay our fees automatically on the 19th, and then the balance should go to our checking account in a few days?</p>

<p>Is this because my financial aid is labeled as incomplete? </p>

<p>I checked my financial aid document tracking and it says they need to "verify off campus housing" which is the option I checked, but how do I do this? Is there a form I have to submit? </p>

<p>I already emailed them about this but no response yet and the # is busy. If I send a check for the $2300 and then fin aid goes through will I get charged again or would that just be sent to my bank account through bruin direct? </p>
