Registration Woes

Okay so....I'm third reg window, and its looking probable that I not be able to get into the 32L math class that I need. There are only two sections left, and one conflicts with my focus classes. If I don't get it, are things at all flexible? As in, could I talk to someone at orientation who could help me out?

I know that people miss out on the classes they want all the time, but this is a large lecture, so it seems like it shouldn't be as big of a deal.

Has anyone had experience with this?

You can ask the teacher to talk to his/her other class. See if anyone is willing to switch with you or something.

2o_o7 - call the Academic Advising Center at 1-919-684-6217 to talk to an adivsor. They know the available options.

Registration windows reopen August 22, 2007. Remember drop/add for Fall 2007 ends September 7, 2007.

What you need to do is to contact (email or preferably by phone) the instructor of the course and let them know your situation. Many (but not all) will be accomodating and let you into an already full section (you cannot do this yourself on ACES but rather the professor will do it himself/herself for you). If it doesn't work out, unfortunately you will need to pick another class that still has spots open.
