So, maybe I am totally crazy, but I just sent out most of my admission and all of a sudden I totally don't know if going to bs is what I wanna do. It's not like I HAVE to go. Im not going for FA or anything so thats not a problem. I just want to know if I am the only one who feels like this?

You’re not alone, I’ve been thinking about that too.

I think it’s normal to feel that way for 2 reasons: 1) change is always a bit unsettling 2) fear of not getting accepted. Revisits will get you excited again about going to boarding school!

ok thanks I already feel better.

you stole my thread!!! haha jk i am having the exact prob, but i know that everything will work out in the end. A positive attitude leads to a positive outcome :)

Yeah, I was wondering if there was a thread like this…
You will be fine I am sure this is just a phase.

I felt a twinge of that, but realize that you have a lot of time to think over it. Wait for revisit day.

What’s revisit day? The only loss in not attending boarding school is the nonrefundable application fee.

yeah i think that’s definetely one thing we all have to consider- the completely different enviroment, but I think I really trully want to go. If your having any doubts I think the best thing would be to just contact someone who goes to that school or look at various threads about what life is really like and how it differs from the image the viewbooks and websites give us.

I haven’t even applied yet I am thinking that! But then I watch the “10 Things I Love About Deerfield” video and I remember why I want to go again :D

revisit day is a certain day, usually in april, when most schools ask their admitted students to come take a second look at the school, meet students, and sit in classes. its basically a way to let prospective students to know more about their schools and convince them to matriculate there :).

ive been thinking the same thing!!!
ahhh im so glad i am not the only one thinking like this!

I am thinking this also! I think we all need an group session to talk about how great boarding school is!
