<p>Does Denison wait until April 1st for all regular admission applicants to give a decision on their application?</p>
<p>It seems they are very reliable on responding on the dates they’ve indicated candidates will be notified, and neither earlier or later. At least in a case of 1, this 1.</p>

<p>It seemed like we heard slightly before the stated date but not by much…We got a letter telling us when we’d hear. It was before April because they have their accepted student visit days starting in early April.
The really cool thing was that they gave us the scholarship/financial aid info in the same packet with the admission.
Several of the other admissions packets had those come later, under separate cover. it made it difficult to assess the whole picture without that critical info.</p>
<p>I just received a letter saying decisions will be mailed out on March 12th.</p>

<p>Note the PS to the letter states that financial aid decisions will be mailed separately from the decision letter.</p>
<p>^D received same letter. Couldn’t believe that 4,700 applications had been received for 620 spots!</p>

<p>Was that letter sent to all applicants? I thought it read like a “likely” letter, but perhaps I’m mistaken.</p>
<p>I didn’t get that letter. But, I’m an international student so letters take a long time coming. I got my acceptance letter from DePauw at the same as when I got a letter saying my application was complete :P. </p>
<p>Did the letter mention anything about international students? Do even international students get decisions on the 12th?</p>
<p>It did not sound like a likely letter to me. It was pretty neutral.</p>
<p>It didn’t mention International students; it just said that the letters were to be mailed for all students on the 12th. Unfortunately, for international it will take longer. It didn’t mention if the status would be updated online or not. We will be checking that on the 12th for sure!!</p>
<p>susanr64, please keep in mind Denison accepts about 2,500. 620 is the estimated size of the class. I agree, the letter did not come across to us as a ‘likely’.</p>

<p>Nope. They do not post 'em on line. btw, that letter has been sent for a number of admissioins seasons. It is not intended to inkle “good” or “bad.” It is what it is…just a heads up that decisions will be sent …no more, no less. Don’t read between the lines. It’s blank.</p>
<p>Do you guys know if international students get emails or get normal snailmail letters that take an eternity to reach us?</p>
