I remember you, too. I decided not to withdraw my application - most people said it wouldn’t likely free up another spot or do anything. However, I’m not really that interested in attending anymore even if I am admitted. It’s still a fantastic school though!!
But - I have looked at past threads, results, etc. and figured that I should share what I’ve gathered for the many people that are trying to get through the wait right now.
Someone had mentioned on another thread that it’s on Friday, 18 March pm
That would make sense with last year’s date. If they’re following a pattern of the 3rd Friday in March, that would fit.
Wow… so we will most likely be hearing back this week?
Don’t think so. With weather delays on the east coast, one more week.
Does anyone know the EA deferral to RD acceptance rate for OOS?

@markcal22 Have you/anyone else heard anything else about the decisions being released this Friday?
Some of the mid-years didn’t even arrive in our office until this week. In some cases, we had to call counselors to have them read them to us by phone because we still haven’t gotten them. The Regular Decision process can’t be completed without mid-years.
I know the wait is hard, but I think you’ll all agree that cutting corners just to push decisions out is a bad idea. Hang in there! We are moving as quick as possible while still giving everyone a thorough review.
Has anything changed under myUVa? My D still has my academics, my interests etc
@whitespace Ahh gotcha. Well I’m glad you didn’t withdraw haha! Even if you aren’t that interested in attending anymore, it’s nice to see what could potentially happen. And who knows, maybe if you take a visit to UVA, you’ll like it this time around
According to Dean J’s post, I’m gonna take a guess and say that decisions will not be coming out this week. Next week, fingers crossed!
@Classof2020x You’re right, who knows. I consider it an honor to be accepted anywhere, and that goes for UVA as well. And I think I’ll probably just wait it out for decisions, although probably not next Friday because of the holiday, so maybe Thursday.

I think the Dean made it pretty clear decisions won’t be coming out soon… There is no official date yet.
If it’s worth anything the dean said something really similar the week of the release of the EA decisions so although it might not be, I wouldn’t rule that out.
I have a friend who got into UVA last year. I went and looked at her acceptance letter pix that she posted last year and it is dated March 20, so we should be getting close this year.

The reason I say the same thing every year is because everyone starts asking about decisions repeatedly at this time every single year.
There is ten years of historical data on the blog. Just look at posts from every March and you can see that we try to finish early.
We are not done because those mid-year reports were late. I’m not sure how else to say it…
