Regular Decision 2020

@“Dean J” so next Friday I presume?

I’m thinking June 6th. Maybe August 23rd.

In other words, I don’t know. When the Dean says we are done, we will release decisions. As soon as I have that green light, I post on my blog, twitter, Facebook, and instagram.

I’m gonna need some ice for that burn

This wait is making me physically sick, probably shouldn’t let anxiety get to me so much but I can’t help it!

@justjacob58 - You’ve gotta figure out a way to not stress about these things. Go outside, exercise, read a book, listen to music, etc. Something will get your mind off this.

If the chatter makes you worry, get off CC! I know this process is fraught with anxiety, but if seeing the talk on CC makes it worse, maybe log off for a little bit. Hang in there, folks.

@whitespace I’m actually going to LA right now, so hopefully that will help get my mind off things!

@justjacob58 Sounds like a great plan! Enjoy your break. Mine just started about 30 minutes ago.

@justjacob58 Don’t worry! It happens when it does

I’m curious - not trying to speculate or cause commotion - but do you guys have financial aid documents showing when you log into SIS? It’s under my To Do List on the Student Center page. I did apply for financial aid.

Doesn’t say that for me @whitespace lol

Try some non CC/NFP centered searches/ideas to distract you during the next few anxiety filled weeks:
What to bring (or not) to college? There are plenty lists out there.
What college students wish they knew before going to college. Good insight.
Deep clean your room. Your parents will appreciate it and it is a calming feeling entering a clean room.
Weed out your closet. Dorm closets are very limited.
Search storage ideas for your dorm room. You have lots of stuff in a small shared space.
Surprize your parents - weed the yard, clean the garage without being asked.
Get ahead and finish those last projects so you can enjoy spring break.
Go for a long walk/run…clear your mind. It will all work out.

Yes, I have the same asking me for 3 financial doc for financial aid

@overjoyed Those are some fantastic suggestions, thank you!

@Overjoyed good point , I REALLY need to clean my room… when i get stressed its like clothes and junk everywhere lol

Idk how I stayed off of CC for so long because I’m actually addicted to it now!!!

Does it mean anything if there’s a clickable link that says “Open Enrollment Dates” or am I reading too much into it?

Everyone has that @guitar321

THIS IS SO HORRIBLE LOOL I HATEEE THE WAIT

It’s hard when you thought they’d be coming out on a specific day, and they don’t. But - you have to realize that the MOST that we could be waiting is 12 more days, which pales in comparison to the months we already have. Hang in there!
