@AnArcticMonkey & @zbday11, attached is a link to Wake’s Admissions that gives some insight to the interview at Wake. Couple things to point out: Wake does view the interview as important (Wake wants applicants who shows the interest in interviewing with them and checking their website) and since all the interviews are over you should not worry about not having an interview - it is now out of your control.http://admissions.wfu.edu/visit/interviews/
Finally, good luck to all applicants; I hope you get a black envelope from Wake. Wake is a great University and my daughter loves Wake (Parents we love it too). I will keep people posted on when the envelope are being mailed.
My son did not request an interview. He has high stats, 35 ACT, 4.0 unweighted, 8 AP’s, captain of a varsity team, NHS Officer and great recs. I am very interested to see if no interview hurt him.
@zbday11, Last year decisions were mailed on 3-24-2016. Wake’s goal is to have the envelopes in applicants hands by 4-1. Of course the further you are from Winston- Salem the longer it takes to arrive.
Again I hope nothing but the best for all applicants. Accepted student days are April 7 and April 21. Go Deacs!
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN:
On March-16-2017 a shipment label was printed by Meredith Lindel (336-758-6110) of
WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS for delivery to (MY ADDRESS).
It weighs 0.5 lbs.
I am an international student.
Does this mean anything
@AnArcticMonkey speculation is bad 99% of the time, but I’ll do it anyways. It’s probably good news, as I doubt they’d mail you a 1/2lb package otherwise!
