Regular Decision Acceptances

@TimeMaster: Two people were rejected, two were waitlisted and I was accepted, don't know anyone else on here who got accepted.

@arit: They probably said that in case you didn't want to send your transcript or something.

If they only mailed things on Thursday, we can't expect to hear yet.

if anyone is wondering when yours'll come, go to www.usps.com (the US Postal Service website) and see how long it'll take in the mail. (That is, if they were all mailed out yesterday.)
I'm in DC, so it says it takes 2 days.

Where do you go to check that?

Did the decision letters go out today?

musicnerdish -- it tells you when you calculate postage.
and someone said earlier that they went out yesterday.

Hey guys, I don't think they sent it out yesterday...

(message was from yesterday)

So probably next week sometime we should hear something. All we can do is hang in there.

I'm hoping for Monday, but it may be Tuesday or Wednesday here on the west coast.

Did anyone receive anything today? I haven't... I'm guessing they're sending the letters out today.

nope, i didnt get anything and i live about 2 hours away ohio. Maybe tomorrow?

I'm in Toledo and I got nothing today... mail usually takes about 2 days from the Cleveland area.

I practically sprinted to my mailbox today to find...nothing from Oberlin. I'm in Springfield, OH, should be about two days for me as well. Maybe tomorrow will be the big day...

I'm guessing Wednesday for us... the wait is going to kill me!

I got a letter from Oberlin Conservatory today and it was dated the 23rd, so I'm hoping the Oberlin College decision will arrive soon.

yogore, are you a double-degree applicant as well? If so, do we get our aid package seperately from the two decisions?

Does anyone know if being able to log in to Presto and check on your financial aid status means anything in terms of acceptance?

I think anybody who has an Oberlin ID can log into Presto. I think the only indication would be if you see actual financial aid information (awards that are already recorded).

I was a double degree applicant. I didn't get into the conservatory though (here's to hoping on the college). I have no idea about the financial aid, but I had been wondering the same thing.

I got a letter in February saying that my application was complete but I never got an online log-in or "Presto" ID. However, I got a letter a few weeks ago from my admissions counselor letting me know that she really enjoyed my essay, etc...

I'm super confused. Anyone else without a Presto/Oberlin ID?
