Great success to everyone in midst of the “great wait.” We’re doing the same here in WA State…

sorry to burst your bubble justwaiting93, but i’m pretty sure i got the same letter way back when i visited in september, before i’d even applied. i think it’s just acknowledging our interest in the school…i don’t think it has anything to do with our admission chances

Accepted!!!

D just got her acceptance in the mail!

Accepted! Now I have to decide between here and Wesleyan.

to those accepted–where do you guys live?
i’m in new york and still waiting!!
(and congrats!)

No letter in NJ yet either.

My son received the thumbs up today in Ohio. Best wishes while you wait. I feel for you!

D received the thumbs up this afternoon in WA State. Thank you so very much, Kenyon! Best to everyone…! :)

I’m from WA state too, but I haven’t received my letter yet. I hope that’s not a bad sign.

accepted!!!
from illinois!!!

I was ACCEPTED on Saturday!
It was very strange. I wasn’t expecting the decision letter because I thought it was supposed to come at the beginning of April. I had come home from rehearsal because I had hurt my wrist. My dad and I were deciding where I should go (hospital, orthopedic surgeon, family doctor) when my mom set the mail down on the counter and I saw a purple thumbs up! It was so exciting! I am choosing between Kenyon, UNC and UCLA.

I was accepted Saturday. I loved the envelope, big thumbs up=AMAZING! I was gone all (therefore unable to open it until quite late) and my brother wanted to send me a picture of the envelope upside down so that it would appear to be sad news. Anyways, I am sooooo happy. I really love Kenyon and I got a $12,000 a year Distinguished Academic Scholarship so that is really nice. Maybe I will see some of you next year! COngrats.

I just decided to attend Kenyon today. hope to see some of you guys there next year! best of luck to those who are still waiting for their decisions

Hey guys. I was just waitlisted and I was wondering if there is anyone here who was accepted but didn’t interview. I never did an interview and you can bet I’m regretting it now. Just wondering if that’s ruined my chances forever?

Can’t thank the school enough for acceptance letter for D and their generous fa pkg. Our entire family is attending a alumni dinner next here in Seattle next week, and we’re pretty darn excited in general! :)

Me too! I’ve been accepted to some other places, but I feel like it’ll come down to Kenyon and Wesleyan.

For D–appears it’s between Kenyon & Swarthmore–with mutual affections for Carleton & Reed.

For Mashy, yes, my d was accepted without an interview. She did visit on Summer Visit Day but they had lost her registration so I doubt it “counted” for the admissions office. They don’t offer interviews on that day, FYI, which is really frustrating for those who make that their only day at Kenyon–something to consider in planning your visits. She did meet the coach in her sport that day, but there was very little follow up from him after that.

acceptees please post stats! :D
