on collegeboard it says Apr.1st, but it always is different.

They’re all mailed the same day, so it depends where you live. Those very close to Colgate may hear a day or two early; those on the west coast or international hear later. It also depends a lot on weather, how efficient your local post office is, etc.

Aren’t results released online too???

nope. they only send them out by mail. I know it’s gay, I hate waiting for stuff and then being dissapointed that it didn’t come.

Tip: Choose another word. I know it doesn’t technically mean what it actually means, but you are old enough to understand how words can greatly offend.

^Agreed…

my bad. won’t do it agaiiin!

Well, if Colgate mailed the letters online, then the accepted students wouldn’t get that personal note from Gary Ross, wouldn’t they? I’d wait :)

Normally, I think it’s about March 20th to 25th, sometimes on those days that they mail out all the letters.

Last year the first accepted postings occurred on the 28th, by New Yorkers. Thus, mail must’ve been dropped the day (or two) before.

My sister who attends Colgate has a friend in admissions and he said that they are mailing out the decisions on March 25th.

one of my friend already got his accepted letter lol…
Early March i think…

^^ you’ve confused me wchen. Your friend: was it a regular decision acceptance, an international or US EDII or…?

And “early march I think…” what? He got the letter in early march? Letters are mailed early March (which we’re now clearly in mid march)… what did you mean?

Or is confusion just me?

The friend was probably an AMS Scholar.

Modadunn: Thank you for your post #1. Highly appreciated.

All decisions will be mailed by our office by April 1st.
from AO

Quote from my “my Colgate” page:

“Colgate’s Office of Admission has appreciated the contact we have had with you through your college search. We understand that you are eager to learn the outcome of your application. Currently, the application review phase for first year admission is now complete. We plan to mail our admission decisions on or about March 25. Please note we do not give out decisions over the phone. You should expect to receive your decision within a reasonable amount of postal delivery time after March 25. We thank you again for your interest in Colgate and give you our best wishes for your college career.”

^ I wonder if international students will be notified by e-mail?!

yea, probably

yeah iam international but living in the states… so do i get email or mail??
