Can anyone from last year please let us know the date regular decisions were announced and whether those decisions were released via email? I heard late March, but the Cornell website says early April.

If Cornell says it’s early April, it’s early April…

They e-mail you a website link a few days prior to the announcement, and when the results are released, you log on to the website to check.

Last year and the year before, decisions were released via email at 5pm on the Thursday before April 1st, but……since April 1 will be a Tues this year, I could see them delaying the release to Mon, March 31st at 5pm.

This year’s ED responses were released four days ‘later’ than last year’s, probably due to the CA problems. Several of the Ivies released on Mon, Dec 16th this year so I would suspect that Cornell will try to release when the other schools are.

This is all just idle speculation; I have no inside info!

The release date is March 27. Though Cornell doesn’t specify its date, all Ivy leagues release decisions on the same date, and if you check other Ivies’ sites, such as Princeton and Columbia, the decision date is released. In the past, Cornell has sent an email with the link to the site where you’ll check your admission status.
