In state or out of state and what do you consider to be "borderline" ? I sure hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Even though I went to high school in VA, I was considered out-state bc of some issues, anyway, well borderline as in 3.7 gpa well with 11 APs and a not so great SAT score. Trust me, if you have good numbers and you need money, they will give it to you, besides admissions and financial aid work independent of each other, their offices are in the same building but they are very much separate.

i dont think im going to get in anyway, but should I worry I havent received anything yet? I'm in state (in Northern Virginia) which is only about 2.5 to 3 hours away....myabe they're sending them in batches...

I called the office earlier today and the lady in the office (who was VERY nice btw) told me that not all the letters been sent out. She said all of them will be sent before April 1st.. so I'm guessing there are couple of batches sent on different days.. idk.. but let's wait for the best!!

Anyone from out-of-state get a letter yet?

Bah. Nothing in the mail today...(out of state)

S. got his letter today. In state, No. Va. Wait Listed.

S. got his letter today. In state, No. Va. Wait Listed. SAT 1490 GPA 3.5 (that's what hurt the chances I'm sure)

any out-of-staters hear?

In TX, haven't heard. I'm parking myself by the mailbox until something comes.

Has anyone been rejected, or will those letters come later?

Im in FL.....i havent heard anything either....

only decision I've heard from home is a WL... one friend got a call for more forms / missing something, like someone earlier in this thread mentioned.

They sent me a letter asking for a bunch of financial aid forms, does this mean my decision won't be mailed until those are in?

Nope- I'm MD, and haven't heard either :( The wait is excruciatingly long.

OMG i hope i get in!!!
