<p>guys, this is pathetic...honestly. the admissions process at most selective schools, and especially the ivies, is a crapshoot.</p>

<p>you took the time and energy to apply and write the essays. so now, why not be optimistic and just wait it out?</p>

<p>I argree w/Senioritis: go and study for your AP exams or something constructive. While I can sympathize for the agonizing, you all need to know that if you're even remotely viable as a candidate for Y, then I'm certain that you'll be able to continue your academic success at whatever institution you attend in September. Yale will be lucky enough to have some of you, other colleges will be fortunate enough to have the rest. </p>

<p>As an alum, be assured that I love the school and my time there but eminently respect others who didn't go to Yale and would be happy to work alongside or under them. Heck, there are Yalies whom I CAN'T say that about. Stay off of CC for about twenty-five years OK? When YOUR kids are 16 or 17, then return. Otherwise, stop driving yourself crazy. All that CC can do for you, it's done already.</p>

<p>hahahah! thank you T26E4. I originally clicked this link, interested that people had gotten rejections already. CC does drive people crazy, I originally hated this site, thought it was full of wired, crazy, smart but paranoid kids who spent their hours camped in front of the computer letting other crazy kids check out their stats. Reading your comment made me think.."Ive become one of them!" So im logging off now, and I'm off to enjoy my spring break.
