Hi guys, I'm currently in a stressful situation and I don't know what to do. I'm currently a junior transfer and I went from State -> CC ---> hopefully transferring to a UC. I applied to UCSB, UCD ( my safeties), UCI, UCSD, UCLA, UCB this year and got rejected from all of them except UCD. I got waitlisted at UC Davis and that's all. My only hope right now is accepting the waitlist from UCD and praying that they'll accept me. The thing is, I'm not a freshman transfer. I've completed all the required units from my first three years at State and Community College. The worst case scenario right now is that I don't get accepted to UCD( which is very likely) and I have no where to go. I would have to wait one WHOLE YEAR in order to apply to schools again with no chance of boosting my GPA. I already have taken a combine total of 70+ units. One more side note about me: I did horribly at the state university I originally attended, but at the community college, I completed 45+ units and got a 4.0. I was ecstatic and was hoping that I would get accepted in to AT LEAST one of these schools. Having said all this, I'm just wondering if the internet has any advice on how to proceed with my current situation. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I think you should call or email UCSB at ucsb4me@sa.ucsb.edu and ask why you got rejected. They will reply within 24 hours. I got rejected from UCSB and emailed them, and I got the reasons for denied admission the next day. From UCSB’s reply, hopefully you can figure out why you get rejected from most UC’s.

@LaysOriginal Thanks for the advice man, I will definitely do that.

Did you retake the classes from your csu at your cc?
