…

My GC is going to call in a few weeks and ask the RD why I got rejected. Ask yours to do the same.

Just call yourself. If your GC calls, they'll just tell him that they have a very competitive applicant pool. blah blah blah... If you call yourself, you might actually have a chance at feedback. Just call your regional director; they don't bite.

Regardless of how smart you are, how many activities you do, or how high test scores you have, it's never safe to assume you will get accepted at a school like Penn. There are just too many talented people in the application pool. Distinguishing between these applicants is extremely difficult. You can try contacting the rep, but more than likely that's the answer they'll give you.

Arn't the reps on vacation right now?

What school will best prepare me to transfer into Wharton sophomore year?

A top 30 school - the higher up the better. Or a top LAC.

Would U.Chicago give me the best chances? Im pretty sure I can get in there.

well.. if you can do well in it, u chicago is very academic....

It would seem intuitive to NOT go to a similar school as Penn says they want you to make clear in the transfer app that Penn offers something your current school doesn't (i.e. my school has no Korean studies department and Penn's kicks ass).

Then again, one of my frat bros was a transfer from NYU Stern to Wharton...

You are sad, Wharton11

youguysaresad, well said, even though the anguish is probably crushing their little asian hearts.

Johnny, maybe we should tell Mrinal the same thing. but first let's make sure he's not jacking off to his Wii

Wharton411, I've seen you on the SMU and TCU forms...go to Texas!!! I'm sorry about you're rejection...I'm applying to Wharton RD and ill probably get the same fate as you...

That's not Wharton411

That's not me. But I did get rejected from wharton.

I guess I am going to go to Michigan. Michigan is going to open its 75 million dollar business building in fall 2008 and it is going to own WHARTON!

never my friend ours was 138 mills....owned

Oh we'll see my friend :)

(I <3 Wharton, but Wharton didn't love me)

Do the business schools compete in competitions against each other? I really would like to OWN all the whartonites and then see stetsons face after I do it.

meh...i will say that mich is my fave football team. got shafted by a man named urban meyer ***

yea they do compete...don't know about wharton specifically though.

I know Wake Forest participates in some competitions.

I honestly think Wharton would lose in such a competition, simply because they focus too much on finance/i-banking (lot of people have mentioned that wharton ruins any entrepreneurial spirit u have).

Wharton is a solid business school, but unfortunately it sends grads to only high paying jobs (nothing wrong with that), but U. Mich. might focus more on individuality and personal growth.

eww...who wants personal growth over net worth growth....i go for the latter lol
