So I was rejected from UPenn ED on Friday and I was wondering what my chances would be for Georgetown, Brown, and Cornell

AP World History- 5
AP US History- 5

All honors courses and I'm taking AP lit, AP psych, and AP us gov this year

Awards- highest averages in US history honors, US AP, and World AP, Principal's Honor roll (97+), presidential service award, many academic challenge awards

i’m really sorry, but no top tier school is going to take you with a 590 in math. my oldest brother was grandfathered in Upenn with his SAT score (2230) and a letter from my dads best friend on the board of trustees.

my other brother had the same letter from the same guy but only a 2000 on his SATs. he got a 590 in critical reading and wasn’t qualified for the “grandfather” status my brother received. once an Ivy league college or a top 20 sees something in the 5s they’re going to reject you, sorry

RD Brown is significantly more selective than Penn ED. Unless you are AA, Native American, or are a recruited athlete, those SAT scores are not likely to gain you admission to Penn, Brown or Cornell CAS. Make sure you have a selection of match and safety schools along with the ones mentioned.

Yeah I figured my math score would probably be why I wont get in, thats actually the highest score I got after taking it like 4 times and I cant seem to get higher, I’m also applying to boston college, the college of william and mary, university of pittsburg, and the college of the holy cross (sat optional) in addition to a bunch of safeties.
