I was rejected from USC, but Im going to Notre Dame (my dream school, which I absolutely love) Just had to let it out.

LOL of course. I did the same thing to other places i got rejected from... (like i asked people where they were going (if they have been rejected) ) and I said i already had a place to go.. so. ^_^ Good luck @ Notre Dame!

Thanks uyulove ! Yeah i only had to deal with 2 rejections, the other being NYU. (kind of strange isnt it that id get accepted into a school ranked around 18 but not to schools ranked around 35-40?)

are you going to USC? Good luck there too !

Yeah it's weird. I got into USC but NYU (usc ranked 30 and nyu 37) also i got rejected from ut austin and that's like ranked 50...***. Who knows.

I got into both USC and NYU. Having a hard time deciding.

i feel your pain. i'm deciding the same thing. i'm deciding mainly on finances...nyu has pretty crappy financial aid...so it's most likely gonna b usc

Ranking don't mean anything. Many schools that are ranked low could actually be a much better fit for you.

usc is far underranked anyway. I think I'll just ignore rankings from now on. :)

Congrats on ND - did you have a legacy connection?

ND waitlisted me, but USC accepted me. No legacy either school.

The more I think about it, winters in South Bend are going to suck anyway.

I am officially a Trojan now!

kkgirl, I have the same decision to make the the same setback.

pretty much..except that USC still hasn't fully processed my fin aid package. if the fin aid package isn't good, i'll end up going to a UC.

Which UC are you considering?

santa cruz and davis. but i'd rather go to davis than santa cruz.

Good choice.
