<p>Now, how do I send letters to the other colleges I applied to (and was accepted to) declining their offer? Is it just an email or a phone call? Should I include my student ID? What should I put in the subject box? etc?</p>

<p>One school I rejected said it was OK to do so by email, but I sent short, regular letters through the mail to all admissions offices for the schools that I rejected thanking them for the offer of admission, but that I had chosen a different school. I included my student ID or application ID just in case they needed it. The subject/RE line should probably be something like "Decline Offer of Admission." I can't recall what I put, exactly.</p>
