So, let’s just say (hypothetically—hopefully) I was rejected from all the nursing schools I applied for. Then what would I do? I want to earn my BSN, but where would I start since it’s already spring already. (just a thought I had since all these decisions are coming out)
I insisted that my daughter add a couple safeties to her applications list, including at least one college she did not want to attend.
You might also put in an application to a community college nursing program. Just keep in mind that those programs often have a waiting list and are competitive.
Nursing is a challenging profession. Resilience is the key to success and your undergraduate application process is only the beginning. I would try to stay focused on the positive side of things. Doubt and lack of confidence will not serve you well in any area of life. Focus on your strengths and they will take you farther. Best of luck.
