Have any RDers received any rejection letters or have their status changed to rejected (or what ever statement they use)?

Believe it or not, I haven't heard of any rejections.
Though this may be because those who are rejected don't want to publicize it.

Denied today, oh well...knew it was a reach for SOM

I'm sorry Coskat!
But I am a true believer that things happen for a reason.
You'll wind up where you're supposed to.

coskat..not to be pushy or anything...i know rejection is tuff...i also applied to SOM and am awaiting a decision...could you post basic stats...SAT/ACT and GPA..so i have a general idea of what to possibly expect now.

Still waiting...deferred EA...it's amazing that my in state SUNY is the last college my son will hear from...can't imagine that Bing gets more applications than say Vtech, which he was accepted at last week...and Suny Buffalo which he applied much later and was accepted a month ago...get with it Bing Admissions dept.

I'm like your son, ddotjon. I was deferrred EA from SOM and I'm now anxiously awaiting the final decision.

Hi amyank489, stats were SAT 1190( 560/630)/1710 ACT 27 GPA 90 ( honor courses ,no AP), good ec's but stats just not up to SOM competition when they only accept 300 students a year. Should have applied to Harpur would have had much better odds.

i think i got rejected :( it says "Decision Made: Declined" but i applied to undergrad nursing. is that a hard program?
i had 1970/2400 & 93 avg w/ honors
& im from queens, ny.
:( boo, it wouldve been much cheaper than nyu.

You might want to consider applying to another SUNY for nursing. SUNY Plattsburgh has a terrific nursing program. Why spend that kind of money on NYU for nursing? You'll make the same money as someone who graduates from a $14,000 SUNY.

or Hunter College for that matter

Avoid SUNY Plattsburgh at all costs.
