Reliability of Released ACT Booklet Practice Test Scores????

Hello, I’m a junior taking the ACT next Saturday, February 6. I have done little to prep, but I took the full timed practice test in the beige booklet they have out at my school, released by ACT, and scored the following according to the provided score chart:
36 English
34 Math
35 Reading
33 Science

How reliable are these scores? Is the released test easier than the real thing? Should I spend the whole week hardcore preparing or should I be fine with a little light review? Thank you for any advice you can offer, especially from experience.

P.S. If it is any help I took the ACT a little over a year ago and scored a composite 30, but I had never before taken a standardized test and I didn’t quite prepare for the time constraint. Conversely, I had time to check some of my answers on every portion this time around.

If the test you took was released by ACT, then it was a previously administered exam. ACT releases tests that it has given before, so your score on the practice test will probably be similar to your score in February. That being said, the ACT now has a new reading format (double passages) so your reading score may fluctuate on test day.

To do the best you can on test day, keep on preparing if you have the time! The more you put in, the more you will get out. Only take it lightly right before the exam to calm down your mind and relax before the test.

Good luck!

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS- I GOT THE EXACT SAME SCORE ON THE REAL THING!

Congratulations!

@azwu331 thank you very much for the advice!
