<p>That means filling this will make no difference in application process. Will they choose decision based on this. As it is optional, will it be safe to NOT fill this ?</p>
<p>I’d assume so. With the exception of Christian colleges (and maybe Hillsdale and some obviously Catholic schools), I honestly don’t think college admissions care one way or the other. It adds to diversity, sure, but I have a feeling that only applies if you’re answering with an atypical answer, like “Christian - LDS (Mormon).”</p>
<p>Then again, take my opinion with a grain of salt, since I’m a first-year, too. I didn’t fill it out, not because I didn’t want to, but because I don’t like the idea of agnosticism being classified as “Other” - or worse, “None.”</p>
