Religious services on campus?

Do any religious groups -- either student groups or churches themselves -- sponsor services on campus on the weekend? Do any area churches offer transportation?

We are Anglican/conservative Episcopalian, but she's open to attending other Protestant or nondenominational services, or sitting in on Roman Catholic Mass, depending on what's available nearby.

Here's a good place to start:
<a href="http://www.usc.edu/programs/religious_life/%5B/url%5D">http://www.usc.edu/programs/religious_life/</a></p>

I'm not sure about rides from the churches themselves, but chances are, if there's a group of students from a campus group that goes to a certain church, they'll arrange transportation for those who need it.

IIRC, your daughter is interested in Campus Crusade. They will have information on churches around the area that members attend and the means of getting there. There's an Episcopal church close to campus on Figueroa and Adams. You may want to look into that if possible.

Thank you, we've bookmarked the Religious Life page for further reading.

Campus Crusade is definitely a group she is interested in checking out if she ends up at USC. (She's down to a final 2 choices this week, and USC is one of them.) Campus Crusade would be a great place for her to get to know other students who share some of the same values or interests.

Thank you both for the info!

There are religious services for almost every religion(christian and non-christian) imaginable. I'm sure that you'll find you'r particular flavor of christianity easily.

Thanks for the encouragement, JBUSC, that is great to hear. Best wishes --
