Remarks from Graduating Senior

I just read these remarks made to admitted students at Williams and wanted to share them. Seems that Williams is still a special kind of place . . .

stuff like this makes me more and more excited about Williams. Thanks casual responder:)

cant wait anymore...when is september coming!?

wake me up when august ends!! that was SO amazing...and just when I thought I couldn't get more enthusiastic about willliams I'm proven wrong..lol..

I'm the first to say that Williams is a wonderful place. In fact it is my top choice. However, this is just an idealistic portrayal of a perfect college that does not exist in reality, don't get your hopes up thinking that every day at Williams will be like this.

priceless28, despite all my enthusiasm, i certainly dont want all my days at williams to be like this! that would be a bit too hectic, lol.

what i was excited about was that williams is a place that actually offers its students the resources and oppotunities to live a life like that.many of my friends who are already in college attest that their college life is the best, and i donot doubt that. all colleges have something to offer for their students. its just that williams offers so much that excites me the most about going there. hence, regardless of whether everyday at williams will be like portrayed above i still:

cant wait anymore...when is september coming!?(^.^)

Well, you're lucky you're going in September. I still have another whole year to wait! :(

that was really moving and certainly a great experience for that person, however my sister started at Williams three years ago and found it to be too small and too removed for her, it was quite isolated, yes it is that picturesque perfect white chapels in the background of mountains kind of postcard picture and yes the town is charming in a sort of movie set surreal kind of way, but for some it is indeed too small, too confining, for others its that kind of out of body pinch me to prove its real experience, and I hope it is just that for all of you! My sister ended up transfering but to this day admits its a special kind of place.

where did your sis transfer to?

she transferred to BU, much more her speed.
