The other day my friend told me her boyfriend’s grade in the regular Trig class I share with him, wasn’t too hot, and said that he would probably retake it online like how he did with Regular Chemistry the year before. I was curious at how this works, so I prodded further and found out that he got a C in regular Chemistry, and his counselor allowed him to retake it over the summer online, and replaced it with an A on his transcript. I think he has a B- in regular Trig right now, and his parents are forcing him to retake it online.
I was wondering, is it possible to do this for Honors classes? Has anyone done this for an Honors course? I got a B and C in an Algebra 2/Trig Honors Class due to familial circumstances involving abuse, and I really need the bump in my GPA if at all possible.
My counselor is pretty incompetent and doesn’t relay information very well, and actually has yelled at me for asking too many questions. She told me it was possible to retake my semester class when I got a B to get an A but told me she gave me all the wrong information and said I couldn’t do it…?
