Hello guys CC here goes!! I am a CC returning student in California and this year taken pre cal twice. I got an F and them dropped the second time(both at the same CC). Their is a 2 course repeat limit now here in Cali CC's and not sure what I can do. I was wondering if I can take Pre cal at another CC around here and make up for it. Is the repeat limit per school.I learned a big lesson about myself from it but I just hope it don't hold me back . ANY HELP WOULD BR COOL Just hoping to get info b4 going to a counselor at school they aren't too helpful.

Take the math course before Precalc to give you the fundamentals to pass Precalc.
You need a different tactic to pass Precalc, don’t you think?

Thanks beerme for the reply . Yes I passed the pre reqs which was TRIG to get into pre cal. I actually really understood the material just i didnt give myself appropriate time to really understand the material in time to test. I am ready to pass pre cal with an A no doubt, now I just dont know if I will be able to enroll in it now.

Any more reply’s would be great please !!!

I believe you have 3 tries at a class, not 2- at least that’s how it is at my school. But that rule only applies per school so if you’ve maxed out a class at your school, then you could take the course at a different school.

2016Candles thanks for the info!! Here in California they just passed a 2 repeat limit per course for community colleges. So yea i’m maxed out. tried enrolling and was rejected. But I am hoping to be able to take the course at another CC. I just havet got much from the counselors at the school. They refer me to the internet. go figure HAHA

anyway to verify if this is possible on-line anywhere.

please help !!! THANKS

I’m in CA also, but like I said in my school it’s 3 times. It says you can repeat a course twice, which means you get 3 attempts. I’m sure you can find the info on your school’s website.

ok i see yes. My school is only 2 attempts. But u think its still possible to take the pre cal course at another CC. This gives me some good news, but I still wanted to make sure b4 i go in front of a counselor. THANKS AGAIN

any more info or help would be great
