<p>I'm taking Physics 1A + 1AL even I got credit for that from AP course in HS since some med school won't accept AP courses and I did not want to take 2A. In my degree audit it says "Repeat; Duplicate; D grade reporting REVIEW WITH YOUR ACADEMIC ADVISOR! - Reqd Courses listed below are UNRESOLVED REPEATS OR DUPLICATE CREDIT. " I understand that I will get no credit, but will it counts in GPA as D even if I get A in class?</p>
<p>I was in the same situation. Apparently the AP credit for Phys1A was ok for med schools, but that I just needed to get credit for Phys1AL, which I took in my freshman year to get it over with. </p>
<p>I would advise speaking with a career counselor.</p>
<p>If you choose to retake it, you will receive a letter grade on your transcript, but that will not affect your GPA.</p>
