Reporting Middle School Grades?

Hi,
So Im working on the self-reported grades, and it asks for middle school coursework. However, on the instructions it says enter coursework 9-12th grade. What should I do?

I believe the middle school coursework section is meant for classes that are usually taken in high school, yet you were ahead in middle school. For example, I took geometry H in 8th grade, when most of my classmates took geometry in 9th grade. therefore, I put geometry H in my 8th grade course work.

@physicsfan7 is correct. We are only interested in high school level coursework. If you took some of that in middle school, you can report it in the middle school coursework section.

@hailtopitt1787 Ohh ok! thanks! also, if I took biology 1 in 9th grade and ap biology in 11th grade, which one should i put for core coursework?

You should be able to list both classes.

If for some reason the system does not allow both I’d put AP and send your admissions officer a note regarding the other biology class.

As Ryang1207 said, you should be able to include both classes in your self report. Our system is set up so that you should be able to enter all of your courses as they appear in your transcript and we ask that you do it that way. If you have issues, just tag me here with any questions or contact our office at oafa@pitt.edu.

it might be easier to fill it out if you go by year (2012-2013, 2013-2014, etc) rather than going by the core course work section
