I am doing my college apps now for transfer, and I am freaking out for a class I had to retake. I took elementary statistics (math 10) and when I first took the class last fall I earned a D. I retook the following quarter and earned a B-. My cumulative gpa is 3.66 and while my bad grade in stats is not counted in my gpa calculation because I had to retake stats I am worried this will hurt my college chances especially since I am focused mostly on UC’s and CSU’s. I was curious of whether I have to report this grade for the CSU’s for CSU’s requirements or not because I already retook the class and passed it. I already reported the grade for the UC app.

You need to contact them and ask.
For the UC’s, you report both grades and the repeat grade is calculated into your UC GPA.
For the CSU’s, you report only the repeat grade and again that grade is calculated into your CSU GPA. When you send in your transcripts, your self-reported grades will be compared to the transcript which would have the repeat grade so make sure you report accurately.
