Reporting Test Scores

If a school requires you to report all your test scores, can you send all of them via score reports but only report your highest scores on the Common App? For example, if you score low on the ACT but high on the SAT, and the school takes both tests, can you just report your SAT score on the Common App and send in the score reports for the ACT without putting the scores on the application?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can do that. Self reported scores on the common app are really not critical to the process. It’s the official reports that matter. You can be selective with your self reported scores and it won’t matter so long as you send in the required official scores.

I believe that it is messed up that ACT and College Board charge you $10 to send a score to a single college. That adds up for those of us that are applying to fifteen schools different schools and are poor and must pay for the CSS Profile to be eligible for financial aid.
