Requesting roommates

I'm an incoming freshman and I found someone to room with. Can freshman request roommates? How do I go about this?

Everything will be spelled out in the Big Book of Forms. Be patient…

WOW… these next couple weeks are going to go SLOW…

I’ve also found a roommate.

does it matter if she’s in the con and I’m in the college?

You can request a roommate. It’s part of the online housing form - you just need to list their name and T number (which you’ll get with the BBoF if you haven’t already figured it out  )

Connies and college students all live in the same dorms, so it doesn’t matter if she’s in the con and you’re in the college.

Oh, yeah - FWIW, requesting a roommate is more complicated in OSCA because, depending on your lottery numbers, you may not get into the same co-op. That happened to me last year. In ResEd, though, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Yeah, you can room with anyone. Conservatory kids and college kids often room together. =D

Back in the day at the college, my sophomore roommate was a soprano voice major at the Con. I never had to set my alarm. She sang me awake each morning.

^

Funny. And cool. Talk about a wake up call. :)
